Troubling Banner Ads

I keep getting banner ads about IQ. Is anybody else troubled by the following sequence:

I am troubled indeed, that Shakira did not run for president. I also wonder - how do they obtain those scores? do they send them e-mails asking to provide their IQ? or a test? or perhaps McCain, Obama and Shakira saw these ads in their daily browsing and decided to click on "start test"? I'm sure they speak German, with those IQ scores (I imagine McCain thinking: "if Obama did it, then I must do it, I know I can beat him. Oops")
